What is Stanford Open Minds?
Stanford Open Minds is a multi-city tour launching in the spring of 2025, highlighting the initiatives and programs shaping Stanford’s future. This is a unique opportunity to hear Stanford leadership, connect with alumni in your local community, and experience the best of Stanford in a city near you.
Why did we choose these cities?
The five tour locations were chosen because they are the cities with the largest concentrations of Stanford alumni. As much as we would love to bring Stanford Open Minds to more cities, we are constrained by university schedules and budget.
When will new tour stops be announced?
We are working with Stanford leadership and faculty, as well as alumni volunteers, to identify dates and locations for future tour stops. Once dates and venues are confirmed, we will email Stanford alumni and friends who live near that location.
What is the registration cost?
If you register during early bird, the price is $55 for General Admission and $25 for Young Alumni. After early bird, the price will be $75 for General Admission and $35 for Young Alumni.
Who can attend?
Stanford Open Minds attendees will primarily be Stanford alumni and other friends of the university. In addition, Stanford Open Minds is open to those who are interested in connecting with Stanford. While we love welcoming guests of all ages, please note that we are unable to provide child care or other accommodations for children at this event.
Are we allowed to bring guests?
All guests are welcome. You’ll be able to register your guests when registration opens.
Can I attend remotely?
Stanford Open Minds is designed as an in-person event and will not be livestreamed.
